An acupuncture and tuina therapy training program of the French College of Traditional Chinese Medicine kicked off in Changsha on March 10. The program was hosted by the Hunan University of Chinese Medicine (HUCM) and the French College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

由湖南中醫(yī)藥大學(xué)與法國(guó)中醫(yī)學(xué)院聯(lián)合舉辦的法國(guó)中醫(yī)學(xué)院針灸推拿研修班10日在長(zhǎng)沙正式開(kāi)班,。

The two-week training program has brought together 12 faculty and student representatives from the French College of TCM. Participants will focus on studying the fundamental theories, practical techniques, and clinical applications of acupuncture and tuina therapy. The acquired skills will be implemented in local French medical practices to enhance public awareness and acceptance of TCM in France, deepening cultural exchanges and the integration in TCM between China and France.

此次研修班為期兩周,，共有來(lái)自法國(guó)中醫(yī)學(xué)院的12位師生代表參加，主要學(xué)習(xí)針灸推拿的基本理論知識(shí),、操作技能及臨床應(yīng)用,，并將所學(xué)技術(shù)應(yīng)用于法國(guó)當(dāng)?shù)蒯t(yī)療實(shí)踐中，增進(jìn)法國(guó)民眾對(duì)中醫(yī)藥的認(rèn)知與接受度,，深化中法中醫(yī)藥文化交流與融合,。

Dai Aiguo, secretary of the CPC HUCM Committee, stated that TCM has shown unique advantages in disease prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation. Secretary Dai added that the training program offers students a diversified curriculum with a focus on "theory + practice." It is hoped that students from the French College of Traditional Chinese Medicine will use TCM as a bridge to further promote China-French friendship.

湖南中醫(yī)藥大學(xué)黨委書(shū)記戴愛(ài)國(guó)說(shuō)，中醫(yī)藥在疾病預(yù)防,、治療,、康復(fù)等方面有獨(dú)特優(yōu)勢(shì)，本次培訓(xùn)為學(xué)員們提供“理論+實(shí)踐”多元課程體系,，希望法國(guó)中醫(yī)學(xué)院的學(xué)員們以中醫(yī)藥為橋梁,，共促中法友誼進(jìn)一步發(fā)展。

Guo Xiangli, deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, emphasized the program's significance in strengthening cultural exchanges between China and France and advancing the global dissemination of TCM. She encouraged exchanges among trainees from different cultural backgrounds, so as to jointly advance the inheritance and innovation of TCM.

中共湖南省委外事工作委員會(huì)辦公室副主任郭向麗表示,，此次研修班對(duì)加強(qiáng)中法兩國(guó)文化交流,、推動(dòng)中醫(yī)文化國(guó)際傳播具有重要作用。她鼓勵(lì)學(xué)員們積極與來(lái)自不同國(guó)家和文化背景的同學(xué)交流,，共同推動(dòng)中醫(yī)藥傳承與創(chuàng)新,。

The president of the French College of TCM expressed his anticipation for deepening collaboration with HUCM in education and healthcare. He affirmed that thanks to the program, participants will better inherit and promote TCM in France.

In recent years, HUCM and the French College of TCM have intensified cooperation efforts in academic exchanges, faculty-student visits, and technical training. On March 10, the HUCM International Education Institute and the French College of TCM inked an agreement for the training program, bringing the cooperation of the two sides to a new stage.
