The 2025 Xiaoxiang Foreign Expert Volunteer Activity was held at the Changsha Changjun Bilingual School on the afternoon of May 7. Five experts from the UK, Germany, Nigeria, Bangladesh, and other countries, along with over 100 high school students from the school’s international division, joined in a cross-border "scientific dialogue."

5月7日下午,，2025年瀟湘外國(guó)專家志愿服務(wù)活動(dòng)在長(zhǎng)沙市長(zhǎng)郡雙語(yǔ)實(shí)驗(yàn)中學(xué)舉行,，來(lái)自英國(guó)、德國(guó),、尼日利亞,、孟加拉國(guó)等國(guó)的5位專家與該校100余名高中國(guó)際部的學(xué)生，共同開(kāi)啟一場(chǎng)跨越國(guó)界的“科學(xué)對(duì)話”,。

Foreign experts including Prof. Muhammad-Sadeeq Balogun (Chinese name "Tang Jie") from the College of Materials Science and Engineering at Hunan University and Jonathan O'Halloran, chief technology officer of Hunan Shengwei Kunteng Biotechnology Co., Ltd., delivered lectures, using vivid language and interactive approaches. They covered topics like high-performance lithium-ion new materials, molecular diagnostic equipment testing technologies, systematic research on new energy vehicles, essential knowledge on youth health and exercise, and practical pathways for high-quality development under the Belt and Road Initiative.

湖南大學(xué)材料科學(xué)與工程學(xué)院教授唐杰（Muhammad-Sadeeq Balogun）,、湖南圣維鯤騰生物科技有限公司首席技術(shù)執(zhí)行官喬納森?奧哈洛蘭（Jonathan O'Halloran）等專家以生動(dòng)的語(yǔ)言和活潑的互動(dòng)方式，圍繞高性能鋰離子新材料,、分子診斷設(shè)備檢測(cè)技術(shù),、新能源汽車系統(tǒng)研究、青少年健康運(yùn)動(dòng)常識(shí)、共建“一帶一路”高質(zhì)量發(fā)展實(shí)踐路徑等主題開(kāi)展現(xiàn)場(chǎng)教學(xué),。

Hunan has always placed high importance on serving foreign experts. The Hunan Provincial Department of Science and Technology has organized a series of Xiaoxiang Foreign Expert Volunteer Activities to encourage foreign experts to actively integrate into Hunan's sci-tech innovation and development.

The Hunan Provincial Department of Science and Technology will further cultivate a favorable and open environment for the employment and entrepreneurship of foreign talent in Hunan, strengthening the brand-building of the Xiaoxiang Foreign Expert Volunteer Service program, and encouraging more foreign experts to share stories of Hunan's sci-tech innovation. This initiative will play a significant role in enhancing the global reach and impact of Chinese culture.
